- Subject to the conditions of warranty set out in clause 10.2, the Seller warrants that if any defect in the Goods becomes apparent
and is reported to the Seller within twelve (12) months of the date of delivery (time being of the essence) then the Seller will either
(at the Seller’s sole discretion) replace or remedy the workmanship. - The conditions applicable to the warranty given by clause 10.1 are:
a. the warranty shall not cover any defect or damage which may be caused or partly caused by or arise through:
i. failure on the part of the Purchaser to properly maintain any Goods; or
ii. failure on the part of the Purchaser to follow any instructions or guidelines provided by the Seller; or
iii. any use of any Goods otherwise than for any application specified on a Quotation or order form; or
iv. the continued use of any Goods after any defect becomes apparent or would have become apparent to a
reasonably prudent operator or user; or
v. fair wear and tear or any accident or act of God.
b. the warranty shall cease and the Seller shall thereafter in no circumstances be liable under the terms of the warranty if the
Goods are repaired, altered or overhauled without the Seller’s consent.
c. in respect of all claims the Seller shall not be liable to compensate the Purchaser for any delay in either replacing or
remedying the defects or in properly assessing the Purchaser’s claim.
CONDITIONS:
- Purchaser must register the product for warranty at:
https://www.trafficaccess.com.au/resource-category/pb4000/ - Troubleshooting Responsibility (Refer to Section 9.1 and 10.2.a of Terms and Conditions of Sale):
● The Buyer is responsible for performing their own troubleshooting prior to contacting the Seller for support.
● If troubleshooting fails, the Buyer must arrange a phone/video support call to troubleshoot over the phone. The Buyer
must ensure necessary tools are available and up to 1 hour is scheduled.
● If phone support fails, the unit(s) must be transported to the Seller’s location or a site visit will be arranged if required
and agreed.
● Costs and Fees (Refer to Section 4.9, 5.9, 7.1, and 10.2 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale):
● The cost of delivery to Traffic & Access Solutions warehouse will be borne by the Buyer until the warranty claim is
approved.
● If the warranty claim is deemed unsuccessful, all transport costs to and from the Seller’s warehouse, including transport to
the Buyer’s warehouse, will be the responsibility of the Buyer.
● If the Buyer has not performed their own troubleshooting and phone support is required (regardless of whether the
warranty claim is approved), the applicable hourly rate will apply in 15-minute increments. See the Seller for current
hourly rates.
● For any unsuccessful claim, any time spent via phone, site, or workshop support will be charged at the applicable hourly
rates, call-out fees, travel time, parts, etc.
● Prior to any time spent by the Seller, a valid company purchase order is required.

Case Notification Form:
For any issues, including but not limited to warranty claims, please follow the process below:
- Description of Issue:
● Provide a detailed description of the issue.
● Include any relevant circumstances or conditions under which the issue occurred.
● Steps Taken to Troubleshoot:
● List all troubleshooting steps you have taken.
● Provide details of any phone/video support calls arranged.
● Necessary Tools and Preparation:
● Ensure that all necessary tools as outlined in the product manual are available.
● Allocate up to 1 hour for the phone/video support call.
● Additional Comments:
● Include any additional information that may help in resolving the issue.
● Transport Arrangements (Refer to Section 5.8, 5.9, and 7.1):
● If the issue requires the unit(s) to be transported to the Seller’s location, the Buyer must arrange and cover the cost of
transport.
● If a site visit is required, this will be arranged if the location and availability of staff permits.
● Approval of Costs (Refer to Section 10.2.c and 4.8):
● If the warranty claim is deemed unsuccessful, the Buyer is responsible for all associated costs, including transport, call-
out fees, travel time, parts, and any time spent by the Seller.
● Prior to any time spent by the Seller, a valid company purchase order is required.
